{Reader's Ramblings #3} Discussing NaNoWriMo & HTML

Saturday, November 7, 2015
NaNoWriMo has started and I'm determined to {actually} participate this year. Last year I signed up and everything, then I forgot about it, but this year my dream of being an author got bigger. Hehe... if your wondering I already warned my family and friends. They already complain about me holing myself in my room on a regular basis but this month it's about to get way more serious.

Speaking of NaNo if you'd like to to read a few excerpts of my novel you can find some here.

So far this month had been a fun one {though that probably won't last due to the fact that I've only lived 7 days of November 2015 and I've already managed to lose a few precious objects of mine.}

NaNo is quite the fun experience so far though I don't have all the time to dedicate to it as I'd like to due to school and all the homework. But this month has been crucial for the development of my novel and a lot of old plot holes that have previously haunted me have been filled.

On the other hand I'm taking some time to learn coding, I am currently taking a course on Khan Academy, and while it's probably more aimed at tiny children as it seems to focus a lot on rabbits, it still has a lot of knowledge to offer. This has been a long goal of mine to learn to code {well actually moreover a three month old goal} and I'm quite proud to have started it {let's just say I'm an infamous procrastinator} The reason such a thing has crossed my mind is because I have a secret fear that I will single handily ruin my blog and not be able to fix it.

Also, Winter is coming very soon! *happy dances* I have waited for this book since forever, I've was waiting before QuartzFeather even existed! {which actually isn't that long} It's hard to believe that soon I'll have my hands on that 800 page beast!

Among bookish news, I've added another jewel to my crown of favorite books. *drumroll* It's The School For Good And Evil By Soman Chainani! Odd thing about this one is I tried reading it as a physical book but I found it boring and dropped it within the first few pages, then the audiobook I'd put on hold a while before finally was checked out to me and I absolutely fell in love. Like I mean heads over heels and hysterically laughing type of love. Just totally adored it! So that's been my life, see you on Monday!
