I found this story quite charming, it helped me see King Clarkson *oops* I mean PRINCE Clarkson in a new light.

I could still see a trace of the iron fist,especially toward the end. I do wonder if Clarkson ever did sleep with Tia. I doubt it, but we will probably never know.

I didn't enjoy Amberly's character as much in this book, as shown by the tests she was willing to do almost anything Clarkson wanted. I tend to prefer stronger female protagonists. However, she is and always will be strong in her own unique way.

I did immensely enjoy seeing a softer side to Clarkson,

I completely enjoyed the fact that Clarkson picked her even though she would have trouble producing an heir. I however didn't appreciate the threat to the poor doctor. When he told Amberly she would be queen my heart absolutely melted. I loved the ending.
